Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies specifically to paid course enrollments processed through the Paymob payment gateway on Dotpy.tech.
1. Eligibility for Refund
We offer a full refund only under the following conditions:
- The request is made within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date.
- The user has completed less than 20% of the total course material (measured by lesson completion or video playback time).
2. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:
- The refund request is submitted after the 7-day eligibility window.
- More than 20% of the course material has been accessed or completed.
- For any discounted or promotional purchases, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the promotion terms.
- If the user violates the Platform's Terms of Service.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to admin@dotpy.tech with the subject line "Refund Request."
- Include the following details in your email:
- Your full name and the email address associated with your Dotpy.tech account.
- The name of the course you purchased.
- The date of purchase.
- The transaction ID provided by Paymob.
4. Refund Processing
- All refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment used through the Paymob gateway.
- Refunds are typically processed within 7 to 14 business days after the request is approved. The exact time for the funds to reflect in your account is dependent on your bank or payment provider.
- Upon approval, access to the course will be immediately revoked.
5. Payment Gateway Disclaimer
All payments and refunds are processed via Paymob. Dotpy.tech is not responsible for any delays, fees, or issues related to the specific processing times or policies of Paymob or the user's financial institution. For technical issues related to the transaction itself, please contact Paymob support with your transaction details.
